Greatest Commandment in LIFE

“Life is so complicated.”

…a definition of life that most people would agree.  For a lot of people experience life to be extraordinary, and only few live a simple life.  And we always want things to be simple.  But the more we make it simple, the more it complicates everything.  For example, you just want to live a peaceful life, so you become silent.  After awhile, your silence would break someones life.  They will ask, “Why are you so quiet? Do you have a problem?” And you’ll say, “No, I just want to have a peaceful life.”  Then they will blame themselves that it’s because of them why you don’t have a peaceful life.  And so they will start on being hysterical and take pity on themselves because of what they have done to you and so on.  See?  With your aim to have a peaceful life, you just complicate things around you.

This is because of the fact that people around you, who used to be with you all the time, are not that open to changes.  They pretend to know you from the very first time you met.  But they barely know you at all. Actually, the people around you are the one who makes your life complicated.  But you can’t just leave them because you can’t survive on being alone either.  So, you just have to be with them.

One thing that you can do to make an introduction of the changes you want to depict in your life is to reveal yourself to them.  Don’t be ashamed of what you want them to know about you. For it’s you.  And if they were really your friends, they will accept you for who you are. (You know this yourself.)  So, blot it out and you will surely have a life free from everything you want.

Stop thinking that life is complicated.  For God give us freewill to choose whatever we want.  And it’s just a matter of choice and it will always be our choice that matters.  So, life is all about the things that we do and the things that we cannot do.

“Life is not about pleasing the people in this world; life is about pleasing the One who made the world.”

Let us not force ourselves to do something for our friends.  But do something that would benefit both of you and your friends.  And with this, our God is pleased.  For we finally learned that God gave us this life to love our neighbor as ourselves.  And this shows obedience to our God’s command.  We obey Him because we love Him.
