More Than Enough

To have something enough is a great satisfaction.  But it doesn’t stop us from aiming.  Wanting to have more takes a lot of self-encouragement.  And being contented takes a lot of courage to comply from the available resources.  What I have right now is more than enough.  I am encouraging myself to imitate the characteristics of what I have now.  Also, I’m taking a lot of courage to submit to the things He had presented in my life.  To express it more… listen to:

Enough by Chris Tomlin

All of You is more than enough for all of me
For every thirst and every need
You satisfy me with Your love
And all I have in You is more than enough

You are my supply, my breath of life
And still more awesome than I know
You are my reward, worth living for
And still more awesome than I know

And all of You is more than enough for all of me
For every thirst and every need
You satisfy me with Your love
And all I have in You is more than enough

You’re my sacrifice of greatest price
And still more awesome than I know
You’re my coming King, You are everything
And still more awesome than I know

And all of You is more than enough for all of me
For every thirst and every need
You satisfy me with Your love
And all I have in You is more than enough

More than all I want, more than all I need
You are more than enough for me
More than all I know, more than all I can see
You are more than enough

More than all I want, more than all I need
You are more than enough for me
More than all I know, more than all I can see
You are more than enough

All of You is more than enough for all of me
For every thirst and every need
You satisfy me with Your love
And all I have in You
And all I have in You
And all I have in You is more than enough

All of You is more than enough for all of me

Things to ponder:

…Are you already satisfied with what you have right now?

…Are you longing for some of God’s revelation into your life?

Is He really more than enough for us?

Enough of That! Practice This!

Are you tired of pleasing the people around you? Na kahit anong gawin mo hindi mo pa rin ma-win ang attention nila? Na kahit anong pilit mong ilapit ang sarili mo sa kanila, sila pa rin ang magi-initiate na lumayo? That you even sacrifice your own belief just to please them?

Well… enough of that!  You are wasting your time. You must find time doing productive things not senseless things. You are not to please people because you don’t know what’s in their mind. Maybe some of them are just using you, and some of them are just annoying you. So stop pretending that you don’t feel those rejections. And stop thinking that they might like you if you keep on sticking to them. You’re just irritating them further.

It is much better to be alone than to be with someone who’s not happy to be with you. It is good to learn things alone because you will always be the first one to appreciate it. You can do everything and you are free to do anything when you’re alone.

At these times, learn to communicate to someone whom you think can allot a time to talk to you even just for awhile. Kapag wala talagang available, turn to GOD. He’s always available and He will always give you the best comfort ever! Even if you don’t see Him, you can hear Him say the words that you want to hear — words that would lift you up and that would draw you closer to Him. All you need to do is find a quiet place and talk to Him sincerely and wholeheartedly. For He listens to everyone who seek Him earnestly.

Practice praying and you will be guided by His wisdom and power. For apart from God we are nothing. Practice this and you will be amazed with the works of God. Ang Diyos ang magbibigay sayo ng mga kaibigan na hinahanap mo at Siya rin ang maglalapit sayo sa tunay na kahulugan ng buhay. We should stop pleasing people and START PLEASING GOD. For God is able to do everything. He is our great Provider and Savior.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

— 1 John 5:14
