Strangers are Angels

“Keep on loving each other as brothers.  Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.”

– Hebrews 13:1-2

We must spread the love all over the world.  This is not just about sharing knowledge but caring on one another.  Let’s start the love to the ones we’re closed to – our family, friends, classmates, and co-workers.  We must show them our support.  We must let them know that we’re happy for what they have achieved in their lives.  For when a person knows that someone is looking forward to him/her, he/she is being motivated then he/she would probably persevere more and more.

In life, we must treat all the other people around us equally.  We must not underestimate someone or overestimate them.  We should consider them the way we want to be considered.  In that case, we are portraying equality, no discrimination and no domination.  It is better if we treat everyone as our brothers and sisters, and love them just like our own blood generation.

Therefore, we must entertain strangers, for by doing so; they will be blessed because an angel of the Lord came to share with them the blessings we had just received.  And yes! We’re all angels of God, sent in disguise but with a purpose. We should touch their hearts to inspire them, to make their life fruitful and alive in Christ. Because through us, the goodness of the Lord is reflecting on our own manner of life.

And so sometimes, we should learn on how to cope up with their environment, not necessarily to imitate them fully. But we must let them feel or see that he/she is not alone, that we belong together in Christ Jesus. We must humble ourselves to let them feel that they are in the right place and the right company, that we share a lot of common things in the leading of God’s will. Also, we are able to build a relationship that is full of understanding, that will help us explain what the Lord commands us to do, and that would help us to improve our ability to interact.

Enough of That! Practice This!

Are you tired of pleasing the people around you? That you even sacrifice your own belief just to please them?

Well… enough of that!  You are wasting your time. You must find time doing productive things not senseless things. You are not to please people because you don’t know what’s in their mind. Maybe some of them are just using you, and some of them are just annoying you. So stop pretending that you don’t feel those rejections. And stop thinking that they might like you if you keep on sticking to them. You’re just irritating them further.

It is much better to be alone than to be with someone who’s not happy to be with you. It is good to learn things alone because you will always be the first one to appreciate it. You can do everything and you are free to do anything when you’re alone.

At these times, learn to communicate to someone whom you think can allot a time to talk to you even just for awhile. Kapag wala talagang available, turn to GOD. He’s always available and He will always give you the best comfort ever! Even if you don’t see Him, you can hear Him say the words that you want to hear — words that would lift you up and that would draw you closer to Him. All you need to do is find a quiet place and talk to Him sincerely and wholeheartedly. For He listens to everyone who seek Him earnestly.

Practice praying and you will be guided by His wisdom and power. For apart from God we are nothing. Practice this and you will be amazed with the works of God. We should stop pleasing people and START PLEASING GOD. For God is able to do everything. He is our great Provider and Savior.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

— 1 John 5:14

Vengeance is MINE

It’s because they can’t deal with their own life and so they’re trying to interrogate one’s life.  It makes them comfortable to know that her life is worse than theirs.

You’ll never know until you heard it from someone close to you.

After hearing all those talks about you… you will end up being pathetic because you are being judged into someone you’re not.  Then it’s either you take it positively or negatively.  You could just smile and prove to them that they’re wrong, or you could just ponder and feel sorry for yourself.  We made our choices in dealing with something, and we decide for ourselves.

Stand firm.  Take courage.  Have faith.  Move on.  And leave it all to God.  He knows you more than they do.  Paguusapan ka lang nila, but they can’t talk to you face to face.  They will judge you, pero hindi ka naman nila tunay na kilala.  But God, He will always be with you – reminding you that you are one of His beautiful creations and you are His daughter.  Let no one take you down, for you have One that will take them down.

Claim His words…

“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.”

— Romans 12:14

And never seek for vengeance. Just let it past and pray for them.

17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.”  — Romans 12:17-19

Greatest Commandment in LIFE

“Life is so complicated.”

…a definition of life that most people would agree.  For a lot of people experience life to be extraordinary, and only few live a simple life.  And we always want things to be simple.  But the more we make it simple, the more it complicates everything.  For example, you just want to live a peaceful life, so you become silent.  After awhile, your silence would break someones life.  They will ask, “Why are you so quiet? Do you have a problem?” And you’ll say, “No, I just want to have a peaceful life.”  Then they will blame themselves that it’s because of them why you don’t have a peaceful life.  And so they will start on being hysterical and take pity on themselves because of what they have done to you and so on.  See?  With your aim to have a peaceful life, you just complicate things around you.

This is because of the fact that people around you, who used to be with you all the time, are not that open to changes.  They pretend to know you from the very first time you met.  But they barely know you at all. Actually, the people around you are the one who makes your life complicated.  But you can’t just leave them because you can’t survive on being alone either.  So, you just have to be with them.

One thing that you can do to make an introduction of the changes you want to depict in your life is to reveal yourself to them.  Don’t be ashamed of what you want them to know about you. For it’s you.  And if they were really your friends, they will accept you for who you are. (You know this yourself.)  So, blot it out and you will surely have a life free from everything you want.

Stop thinking that life is complicated.  For God give us freewill to choose whatever we want.  And it’s just a matter of choice and it will always be our choice that matters.  So, life is all about the things that we do and the things that we cannot do.

“Life is not about pleasing the people in this world; life is about pleasing the One who made the world.”

Let us not force ourselves to do something for our friends.  But do something that would benefit both of you and your friends.  And with this, our God is pleased.  For we finally learned that God gave us this life to love our neighbor as ourselves.  And this shows obedience to our God’s command.  We obey Him because we love Him.
