Pray and Believe

Prayer is very powerful.  The more you believe on what you ask, the more it will become vigorous, and it will be given to you.  For whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.  We are praying for anything in the hope of receiving it.  We pray because we are sure that He hears us.

Prayer is our communication with God.  Enumeration of blessings that we have received and enjoyed, inventory of the things we still have after every failure, detailing of what we want for our lives, and declaration of our faith in Him – these are some of the necessary things that we impart with God during prayer.  We are sharing to Him our whole living.  So, if we have faith in Him, we are always in interaction with Him.

Prayer is the start of forgiveness.  A sincere and clean heart affects the honesty of our words.  When we pray, we have to purify our heart, we have to let go of the grudges we have inside.  For our God listen to those who have a willing and teachable heart.  If we are holding something against anyone, then we will never make it to the completion of the things that God has prepared for us.  For a stubborn heart leads to continuous sins and unlimited compromises that never pleases our God.  We have to let go and let God do His thing in our lives.  Forgive so He may forgive us too and it will be easier for us and to God to settle our prayers.

24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

-Mark 11:24

Enough of That! Practice This!

Are you tired of pleasing the people around you? Na kahit anong gawin mo hindi mo pa rin ma-win ang attention nila? Na kahit anong pilit mong ilapit ang sarili mo sa kanila, sila pa rin ang magi-initiate na lumayo? That you even sacrifice your own belief just to please them?

Well… enough of that!  You are wasting your time. You must find time doing productive things not senseless things. You are not to please people because you don’t know what’s in their mind. Maybe some of them are just using you, and some of them are just annoying you. So stop pretending that you don’t feel those rejections. And stop thinking that they might like you if you keep on sticking to them. You’re just irritating them further.

It is much better to be alone than to be with someone who’s not happy to be with you. It is good to learn things alone because you will always be the first one to appreciate it. You can do everything and you are free to do anything when you’re alone.

At these times, learn to communicate to someone whom you think can allot a time to talk to you even just for awhile. Kapag wala talagang available, turn to GOD. He’s always available and He will always give you the best comfort ever! Even if you don’t see Him, you can hear Him say the words that you want to hear — words that would lift you up and that would draw you closer to Him. All you need to do is find a quiet place and talk to Him sincerely and wholeheartedly. For He listens to everyone who seek Him earnestly.

Practice praying and you will be guided by His wisdom and power. For apart from God we are nothing. Practice this and you will be amazed with the works of God. Ang Diyos ang magbibigay sayo ng mga kaibigan na hinahanap mo at Siya rin ang maglalapit sayo sa tunay na kahulugan ng buhay. We should stop pleasing people and START PLEASING GOD. For God is able to do everything. He is our great Provider and Savior.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”
